Pikes Peak Regional Building Department Info
The following information is specifically related to qualification assessments for the Pikes Peak Regional Building Authority. This information is provided to assist participants in matching up CSA assessments to the Pikes Peak criteria. Participants are responsible for verifying specific requirements with the local jurisdiction as criteria may change.
CSA assessments require a passing score of 80%, unless specifically indicated otherwise.

* A combination assessment KHFE2 has been developed to include FEX and CKH2 in
one exam. You must achieve an overall passing score of 80%. No
partial credit will be given.
The CSA ASCR2 exam used for Pikes Peak Regional Building Department licensing is the same ASCR2 exam required by the Colorado Division of Fire Safety (DFS). Therefore, if you have passed the ASCR2 exam within the last three years it will be recognized by both Pikes Peak Regional Building Department and DFS. However, you are still required to register with both agencies as they have additional requirements for licensure. CSA assessment period must be valid through the period of the agency licensing.
