West Des Moines requires fire alarm and
sprinkler designers submitting plans to be qualified. Please verify

Our assessments for West Des Moines includes
questions from our National assessments in addition to local amendments

where you will schedule and pay on-line.

You must present a State Issued photo
ID and your confirmation notice with your Participant ID and Password to the administrator
to take the assessment.

Assessments require the use of a calculator. You should bring
a simple calculator. No scientific or programmable calculators are allowed.

Fire Alarm tests are based on NFPA 72, NFPA 70, and may include
questions related to fire alarm monitoring from NFPA 20, NFPA 13, and hood systems.
There are questions related to lump-sum voltage drop calculations that may require
some calculations. Bring your own books.

Sprinkler tests may include questions from NFPA 13, 13R, 13D, 20,
25, 14, 24, and monitoring related to NFPA 72. There are calculations related to
general hydraulic principles. Bring your own books.
