CSA vs. NICET and other options - What makes CSA different?

NATIONALLY PROCTORED TEST INFORMATION - Information to help contractors prepare for tests and information about assessments administered at ACT test centers.

AHJ PROCTORED TEST INFORMATION - Information to help contractors prepare for tests, directions to AHJ proctored assessments. This information is only applicable for assessments proctored by the local jurisdiction.

DETAILED ASSESSMENT INFORMATION - Detailed information on CSA assessments.

PLAN REVIEW SERVICES - CSA provides plan review services of Life Safety design documents prepared by the architects and engineers before they are issued for construction in addition to fire protection shop drawings prior to construction. Ask us for more information. These services can be paid for by the developer as outlined in model building codes.

REVIEW OF TECHNICAL REPORTS - Even if you do not need our assistance conducting plan reviews, there are times when a large or complicated project, such as a high-rise, hospital, industrial facility, etc. comes to town. CSA is well positioned to review technical reports for specific projects. Larger projects should have detailed life-safety reports submitted when the project is going through the planning and zoning stages. The earlier you get the designers ideas out on the table, the easier it is to incorporate local necessities and code requirements. These services can be paid for by the developer as outlined in model building codes.

SEMINARS - CSA has developed a number of code related seminars. These seminars are intended for jurisdictions, architects, engineers, general contractors, owner representatives, and others wanting a thorough and quick introduction to the respective topic. These classes are not designed or intended for those taking assessments.
